Discover our Hackathon 2022: ESIEA x Colas Digital Solutions
Colas Digital Solutions has taken up the challenge of using data and artificial intelligence to meet one of the needs of Colas’ businesses: determining the condition of roadways in order to propose renovation work.
In October, 60 ESIEA students (5th year, specializing in AI & Data Science), divided into 10 teams with original names, worked for two days and two nights to submit their project at 12:00 noon sharp.
A jury composed of professors from the school and directors from the Colas Group listened attentively to the students defend their project and decided on a precise scoring grid.
The three winning teams were awarded prizes such as iPads, GoPro and other gift certificates.
This experience was enriching for :
– The students who were able to immerse themselves in the professional world and see concretely how AI and Data are used in the construction and industry sectors.
– The coaches from Colas, C2S and Bouygues Construction who were able to exchange with the future generation of employees and possibly find future interns.
