Going out to meet students, tomorrow’s employees, to help them discover the use of AI and Data in a public works group like Colas is the challenge that Colas Digital Solutions took up by organizing a hackathon.
In October, 60 students, divided into teams, worked for 2 days and two nights to hand in their project by 12:00 noon.
Then the final stage began for the students: defending their project in front of a jury made up of teachers from the school and Directors from the Colas group.
The 3 winning teams were selected on the basis of a scoring grid, and were awarded prizes such as iPads, GoPro and shopping vouchers.
