Nathalie BERCHADKSY: Agile Method and Digital Factory Manager
Nathalie BERCHADSKY is responsible for the Agile Method and Digital Factory, the driving force behind the digital transformation of the Colas Group. Thanks to her 30 years of experience within the Bouygues Group, her fields of expertise are wide and Nathalie is always looking for new opportunities for the company. In addition, she is a key element in the transition of Colas Digital Solutions to an agile organization.
In this interview, she talks about her career at Colas Digital Solutions and the missions she is assigned on a daily basis.

“Hello and welcome to Colas Digital Solutions, a subsidiary of the Bouygues Group. My name is Nathalie Berchadsky and I am in charge of the Digital Factory, which is the driving force behind the digital transformation at Colas. The missions of the Digital Factory are innovation, delivery of digital solutions and implementation of agile methods as well as their transmission to all organizations. Finally, all this in support of the Group’s digital transformation.
First of all, I’m unique in that I’ve been with the company for over 30 years and I’ve never stopped reinventing myself, renewing myself, and taking on new challenges, thus enabling me to evolve within the Group. Colas Digital Solutions is a subsidiary of the Bouygues Group, which makes it a real gateway for our employees to seize mobility opportunities and discover new professions.
The Digital Factory
At the Digital Factory we need employees who are passionate about technology, motivated, committed and curious. Moreover, it is imperative to be animated by the passion of the job because it is necessary to be able to adapt to environments in perpetual change whether they are technological or business.
Within the Digital Factory we are organized in very autonomous teams, what we call “pizza teams” in the agile model. This has allowed us to integrate telework very simply in the context of the health crisis. For me, telework is really a question of trust between the manager and the employees. Today it is a mode that has been proposed to more than 80% of our employees. The latter have been able to integrate these new modes of operation into their environment very simply and with agility.
Finally, in the three years since we created the Digital Factory, the path we have taken is a real success. In conclusion, we are very proud to have been able to continue to develop our activities and to have supported the Group in its digitalization.
